"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some evangelists,
and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ."

Mr. Sam Skelton, Headmaster

Mr. Skelton is a Liberty University graduate in Business Management and is completing his masters at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Organizational Leadership. Mr. Skelton has worked in Student Development at Liberty University and has served as a Development Director in Private Christian education here in South Florida since 1996. He has served on many non-profit boards statewide and national committees and is a private business owner. He and his wife Kim, sons Austin and Tyler and daughter Elizabeth are excited to be a part of the Summit Christian Family.

It is Mr. Skelton's desire to see Summit continue its tradition of excellence as he serves the school families and surrounding community. He has a vision for our school's future and is actively pursuing expansion and growth for the Kingdom of Christ.  He is quoted as saying, "I consider my position a ministry and it is a blessing to have so many confirmations from the Lord, that I am at the right place at the right time for the Lord's timing is everything." He is truly honored to have a staff, faculty and administration that exemplifies such a dedication to the Lord's work. Their enthusiasm has spread to the school families and out into the community.

Our success comes from the Lord and from Him alone. He often turns to IITimothy 2:15 as one of his life verses. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." He holds himself and the staff accountable to God who first removes all doubt. It is because of this Mr. Skelton considers it a joy to serve the Lord, the students and families of Summit Christian School.
