Coach
Scott Kisner
has been at Summit Christian since 1997, coaching
various sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer
and golf. He coached Baseball for one year in 1997
and JV Soccer from 1997-2002. During his best year
with soccer, the team finished 8-4. He coached JV
Boys Basketball for a year, Varsity Boys Basketball
from 1998-2003, Middle School Boys Basketball for 2
years and is currently in his third year as the
Girls Middle School Basketball Coach. Coach Kisner's
true love, however, is Golf. He started a Golf
program at SCS in 2002. In its inaugural year, the
team finished 2-12. Having made steady progress, the
team had a complete turnaround with a 14-4 record
for 2005 with three of the original players from its
inaugural season then and in 2006 sent three
players to regionals with a 16-2 record. His team
verse for every sport is I Cor. 9:24, "Know ye not
that they which run in a race run all, but one
receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain it." |
