Parent Volunteer Needed for Development and Marketing

    We are looking for a parent, grandparent or other adult volunteer who is willing to be mentored in the areas of Marketing and Media monitoring.
     The job will include learning how to scan newspapers and other publications for news that is pertinent to Christian Education.  In addition, we are looking volunteers who would be willing to TiVo or otherwise record news reports that feature our school.  We may be broadcast on more than one station at a time and at various times throughout a given day, so we can use several volunteers for this media monitoring team.  An SCS representative will let you know the times and channels that will need to be recorded.

Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Service Opportunities

As a Summit Christian School parent, you are automatically a member of the PTF!
Please consider becoming a VIP (Very Involved Parent)!

We know that some of you can get very involved, while for others this will be a challenge. What we are asking this year is that you take a moment to review the committees we have put together to provide for the many needs at Summit and consider which committee(s) best suits your interests and availability. The PTF is the school's intercommunication system between administration, teachers and parents.  Being an “active” member will keep you informed firsthand while you contribute your time and talents. 
 

Ways you can help:
Uniform Exchange/Sale Committee – Help is needed to facilitate four sales per year.
Family Fun Picnic Committee – Help is needed immediately in planning a family picnic for our Summit families.
Auction Committee – This committee will plan and organize our 24th annual dinner and auction.
     Help is needed immediately for solicitation of items and to be a part of our planning committee!
Christmas Stroll Committee – This committee will plan and organize our 8th annual Christmas stroll
     designed to give the greatest story ever told to our community. We are currently looking for donations of:
     hay, clear lights, silver garland, $$$ for snow and animals.
Box Tops/Labels for Education Volunteers – Come in once a month during school hours to assist in
     collecting, trimming, counting, and bundling the labels for shipment.
“T”uition “R”eduction “I”ncentive “P”rogram Volunteer – Come in once a week during school hours
     to assist in collecting and filling T.R.I.P orders.
General Volunteer – Help is needed at various times throughout the year with clerical work, manual labor
     (work days), open houses and hospitality events, spiritual life committee, picture day, elementary lunch
     program and so on….
