Parent Teacher Fellowship
Mission Statement:

We are volunteers sharing the love of Christ with the families, faculty and staff of Summit Christian School through acts of service and kindness.
The SCS Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) exists to promote the school and its activities. Meetings are held periodically during the school year.

Room Parents are a vital part of our school.
If you would be interested in being a Room Parent,
please talk to one of our board members or your child’s teacher. Together we can help our students grow. For further information concerning this organization, contact the Headmaster’s Office.

Parent Volunteer Needed for
Development and Marketing

We are looking for a parent, grandparent or other adult volunteer who is willing to be mentored in the areas of Marketing and Media monitoring.
The job will include learning how to scan newspapers and other publications for news that is pertinent to Christian Education.  In addition, we are looking volunteers who would be willing to TiVo or otherwise record news reports that feature our school.  We may be broadcast on more than one station at a time and at various times throughout a given day, so we can use several volunteers for this media monitoring team.  An SCS representative will let you know the times and channels that will need to be recorded.
If you would like to volunteer or if you have any questions about these volunteer jobs, please contact Kim Stryker at 686-8081 ext. 316.

Goals and Objectives:
The purpose of the Parent Teacher Fellowship:

  • To assist Summit Christian School with its mission to the students, families and community.
  • To promote communication between the faculty, staff, students and their families.
  • To promote involvement in SCS events.
  • To promote opportunities for Christian fellowship.
  • To be a volunteer base to assist in fundraising as well as assisting with other needs of the school.
  • Be a direct extension of the Headmaster’s office.

• West Pines Baptist Church / Props • Diane Mock & Kammy Kaiser / Garland
• Dawn Moneck, Lori McCloud & Reba Davidson / Costumes
• Wal-Mart Stores of Greenacres (Forest Hill Blvd.) and West Palm Beach (Belvedere Rd.)
